Justin Timberlake’s Musical Comeback

Looks like it’s time for Justin Timberlake to once again reacquaint himself with the musical world. After focusing on his acting career (and a pretty impressive acting career at that, with hits like The Social Network, Friends with Benefits and his über-funny appearances on Saturday Night Live), his home décor company HomeMint and the launch of MySpace TV, JT is returning to the music scene with his first solo work in over five years… technically speaking.

This won’t be your average Timberlake album, as he’s composing music for the upcoming film The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Jessica Biel, Timberlake’s fiancé, will produce the film, which will begin shooting in the fall in New Orleans. This is the pair’s first professional collaboration – they got engaged over the holidays and are set to wed this summer. (The duo is just too cute together.)

Biel, who is producing under the name of her production company, Iron Ocean Films, is also starring in the film, alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Chloë Grace Moretz.

According to The Wrap, the movie revolves around a widow (Morgan) who finds companionship in an imaginative young girl (Moretz) after his wife (Biel) dies in a car accident.

Now our question is, will we get to see Timberlake featured in the film? He is one of our favorites after all! Chances are likely, given his successful stint in the world of cinema, but we will just have to wait until the release date to see.
