Keep Your Ice Cream Safe with Ben & Jerry’s Innovative Euphori-Lock
One of the few cures to summer’s sweltering and unrelenting heat is a nice tub of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. We’ve all been massive fans of this particular brand for quite some time now, with their addictive flavors and brightly-colored packaging, but this year introduces something new. Indeed, the American company decided to make an innovative change to their classic pint, in order to create a way in which your ice cream can remain your ice cream and only your ice cream.
We’re thrilled to introduce Ben & Jerry’s Euphori-Lock Ice Cream Padlock. You don’t have to tell us how amazing this idea is, we already know. The Euphori-Lock is easy to slip over the pint’s container and bears the witty phrase: “I’m terribly sorry, but there is no ‘u’ in ‘my pint.’” Ouch, I wouldn’t want to be locked out of this delicious treat!
Ben & Jerry’s came up with the Euphori-Lock after a customer suggested selling tubs in stainless steel containers with padlocks on them. While the stainless steel may have been a no-go, the padlock idea stayed. Ben & Jerry’s are making sure they’re looking out for their customers, especially when it comes to others’ greedy fingers in their ice cream!
The Euphori-Lock is mainly intended to keep others out, but it could be beneficial for you dieters out there as well. If you happen to forget your combination (or maybe if you ask someone to purposefully lock you out of the tub), then you are forced to restrain yourself from this high-calorie but too good to resist snack! (That said, you could of course always just go to the store and buy another one…)
