Magdalena Frackowiak for Vogue Russia April 2012

Magdalena Frackowiak is a Polish fashion model who started her career on international runways in 2006. At age sixteen, Magdalena’s mother sent photos of her daughter into a contest for a contract with Warsaw agency, and to no one’s surprise, she won. Soon after, Magdalena was scouted by Darek Kumosa from Model Plus Agency, and signed immediately. Magdalena is now one of the top working models in the industry, ranked #20 in the world according to Models.com.  She is currently signed with DNA Models, Storm Models, Elite Milan, Unique Denmark, Elite Paris, View Management, Modelink, Model Management Hamburg, Munich Models, Donna Models, Next Company, Model Plus, and Elite Brazil. And with countless fashion editorials, campaigns, and runway appearances under her belt, I’d say her mother knew best!

Magdalena’s latest job for Vogue Russia’s April 2012 issue features the model looking very seventies vixen. Shot by Claudia Knoepful and Stefan Indlekofers, the images portray a very romantic feeling for this edition of Vogue Russia. The model is decked out in beautiful bohemian prints chosen by fashion stylist Veronique Didry of Trouble Management. Knowing exactly how to infuse stunning designers from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Kenzo, Veronique creates the perfect atmosphere of femininity and sexuality. Finishing off the romantic feeling was James Rowe, who we can credit those beautiful voluminous curls to that really completed the seventies feeling. If this editorial is showing us what is in for spring, I suppose it is safe to say that big hair is definitely a trend for spring 2012!
